Week 5 (Week 6 on scorecard)

Well we got our round in last week and it was all good except the girls lacrosse game. We had to make some last minute modifications to the course layout where we played hole 5 twice instead of hole 6. If you looked close they left a little island green on hole 6 but I can guarantee one of us would have taken someone’s head off if we tried to play hole 6. It looks like it’s going to be a wet one tomorrow but the heavy stuff is supposed to stop by mid morning/early afternoon. Let’s give it a go tomorrow night and plan on playing!

Week 4 Results:

Wow, someone had a 2 stroke lead on Jonny with 3 holes to go and they blew it! Yes, that was me. A nice drive into the woods on 4 led to a bogey. So Jonny keeps the title as the 1st place king with a tie at -9. Can anyone beat this guy!?

Week 4 Achievements:

The wind was calm.

Alex had his first under par round of the league at -4!

Jerry went from +12 to +2 to +3 to -4. Awesome to see that improvement!

Mike dropped 10 strokes from his Round 2 to Round 4 which was another great thing to see!

Jonny is a 40 foot putt.

He also had this for tap in Eagle on hole:

Kolby hit 2 eagles on 1 again.

Prizes:

Prizes have been updated and you can get a complete summary here. I show a breakdown of the entry fees, prizes, and PDGA Registration fees.

Ace Pot:

The Ace pot is looking NICE for this week at $143 with a few more likely to join! There are only 2 weeks left to hit this thing so somebody better do it! Remember $3 to enter this week and you can Venmo or Cashapp be before 5:30 tomorrow night.

Course Layout this week:

I’m hoping that the lacrosse game isn’t going on but if Hole 6 is unplayable again, we will be playing Hole 3 as the substitute hole. Yes, I am really trying to help you guys hit the ace pot! I will message one member from each group once we arrive tomorrow and have a better feel for if hole 6 is going to be playable or not.

Thanks,

Kolby
