Spring 2022 Round 1 Preview

Week 1

Hello and welcome to the School Street Spring League 2. I will be your host and commissioner Kolby K. My goal for the league is for everyone to have fun and provide you guys with the opportunity to play competitive disc golf to kick off the 2022 season. I got a few emails from people asking why we would bother having a sanctioned league at one of the easiest courses in the world and I just responded and told them if it’s so easy to sign up and come out and shoot -18 every week. They didn’t respond back or sign up. We are ON for Opening Day this Wednesday at 5:30 pm. It will probably be a little wet out there but it should be warm for us. We are playing Wednesday this week but the remaining 5 rounds will be played on Thursdays. You’re welcome to those of you who are Irish or basketball fans ;)

Scoring:

The PDGA live scoring is all messed up because we postponed Round 1. I’ve sent an email to PDGA to try and fix it but no luck yet. We will score Round 1 on UDisc so here are the requirements:

1. Each group will have 1 official scorer who will input the scores on UDisc and then submit on UDisc and send a screenshot to me (4132075197) at the end of the round. I will then input the results to PDGA scoring and send out the results & prize money. The results will also be visible on UDisc results.

2. Each group will have 1 secondary scorer who will input the scores on UDisc and confirm each player’s score with the official scorer at the end of the round. The secondary scorer does not need to submit the scores on UDisc.

ACE POOL (Optional)

Venmo $3 to @kofsports with “Week 1 Ace Pot” to register. Money has to be sent by 5:30 on 3/16 to be eligible to win. If no one aces this week the pot will roll over into next week. There will also be $10 added each week as the ace pot booster.
