Week 4

Week 4:

Let’s try this again, Week 4 is coming up this Wednesday and there is some rain in the forecast again. Luckily it’s showing showers as of today (Monday) so we will plan on giving it a go this Wednesday night. It was a long week off but I hope you guys were able to get out and get some rounds in.

Extended Season Update:

We aren’t going to do the playoff idea I had because not everyone is going to be available those weeks. However, for those of you who are interested in an extended season. It’s $10 per week and I can extend it up to 4 weeks with the PDGA sanctioning. The overall prizes will be determined at the end of the first 6 weeks as previously communicated but we can still get together for a few more weeks and have the weekly prizes for those of you who are interested.

Week 3 Results:

Week 3 seemed to be an exact repeat of Week 2 with Jonny taking 1st shooting -11 and Dan shooting -7. Great shooting fellas! These guys are playing “catch me if you can” type disc golf through the first three weeks! The next closest to these guys were both Joel and Marc at -3.

Week 3 Achievements:

Shout out to Joel for going from +6 and +5 in the first two weeks to -3 in Week 3! I see you!

Two Eagles for Jonny in Week 3 on Hole 1 and 7!

Alex ALMOST aced #2!

Korben proved that new disc is still working for the second week in a row!

The league as a whole has improved in the first few weeks and it’s a great thing to see, keep it up!

Ace Pot:

Well one league member got an ace last week but unfortunately it wasn’t at league...yes, some of you may have seen on facebook that I hit an ace last Tuesday at New England Disc Golf Center. It was awesome. Aces feel great when they aren’t for money so I can’t imagine the joy someone in this league will feel when they hit an ace at league for the pot! The pot is currently at $109 and it is there for the taking. If you already paid for Week 4 then you don’t need to pay another $3 this week to get in. I have Taylor, Taylor, Hing, Gaines, and Kilhart down for Week 4 so far.

Scoring:

Same as the last few weeks, it’s going good!
