Week 3:
We are on to Week 3 this week at 5:30 PM! It was good to meet a few more of you in Week 2 and it sounds like a lot of people are really enjoying this league and group of guys that we have put together. Let’s get into the Week 2 review, Week 3 preview, and then I’m taking the league vote for the Hole 3 decision.
The lacrosse coach seems to be a super hardo and they were right on the 7th basket for a while last week. If you have to skip Hole 7 and come around to play it at the end of your round that is fine.
Week 2 Results:
First off, thank you mother nature for what very well might be the best weather that we will get during the 6 week league. Jonny defended his 1st place crown in Week 2 by going -11! 9 birdies and one tap in EAGLE for the new league best course record and it’s only been two weeks. Dan UDisc legend “BIGDICKDAN” Gaines finished in second place shooting -7 which tied the previous league best course record that Jonny set in Week 1.
Week 2 Achievements:
Korben Cherkas shot even par after shooting +20 in Week 1! Korben, you really need to share your secret and tell us what disc you bought from Week 1 to Week 2. 20 strokes is an awesome improvement in 7 days!
Tommy Hing had a 9 stroke improvement from Week 1 to Week 2 which is another nice turnaround!
Jonny Taylor parked his drive on 7 for a tap in eagle!
Matt Taylor hit a nice 25 foot putt!
Send me your groups highlights each week whether it’s a quick message, video, or photo.

Ace Pot:
Two weeks with no aces!? What gives. Somebody better hit one this week! The pot is up to $72 which is convenient because a zeppelin from the hangar right down the road is $72. So if someone hits it and wants to invite the group to the hangar for wings that would be greatly appreciated by all.
Scoring:
One member from each group should log in to PDGA Live Scoring to keep score for the group. You can work it out within your groups and rotate each week if you would like.
Go to www.PDGA.com/score and enter access code (Message me for the access code) to log in and keep score.
You can also keep your eyes on the rest of the guys in the league by going to www.pdga.com/live
You can also email a screenshot of your scores to me each week if you prefer so I can verify. 413discgolf@gmail.com
Scoring has worked smoothly through the first two weeks with the PDGA scorecard. Just remember, whoever keeps score in your group needs to make sure that they tap each player’s name at the end of the round to finalize the scorecard. Let me know if you have any questions.
League Vote:
There has been a motion to move the tee box on Hole 3. We will only move it if it’s a unanimous decision by the league. The thought is that the new tee box would be moved back and to the right by the sidewalk. We would change to a Par 3 and the distance would be 180-220ish feet.
Weather is looking solid again this week. Let’s have another fun week!
Thanks,
Kolby
